# Monitor assistants

> Track performance metrics and usage for your assistants.

Pinecone generates time-series performance metrics for your assistants, such as number of requests, error counts, chat/context latency, and file processing time. You can monitor these metrics directly in the Pinecone console.

1. Open the [Pinecone console](https://app.pinecone.io/organizations/-/projects).
2. Select the project containing the assistant(s) you want to monitor.
3. Go to **Assistant > Metrics**.
